We operate within the terms of our Inclusion Policy. Children with a wide variety of additional needs have attended Loveders over the years. Examples are children with physical disabilities, ADHD, ASD, speech delay, impaired sight and hearing, cerebral palsy and many more. We make adjustments to our operation to help such children fit in. We, ourselves, are able to support parents with advice, but can also call in external professionals such as speech therapists and educational psychologists for further support and advice. If you have any concerns about your child’s development, please tell us. The earlier we know, the quicker we can help.
Because we have to plan staffing levels in advance and cannot necessarily find a replacement for your booking immediately, we require the full next period’s (four or five weeks) notice of such changes. Failure to provide such notice will result in you being billed for the booking even though your child does not attend.
You still have to pay for the booked attendance. However, at our sole discretion, we do make concessions in exceptional circumstances. If your child is booked in full time, you can take two weeks holiday without fees being payable. If your 2, 3 or 4 year old child attends Loveders Nursery but misses a booked session from time to time, we hold a register of credits for them. If we have places available, you can ask for your child to use one of these without further charge, but please understand that this is not always possible as we are very full at certain times. These credits only apply in the term in which they have been gained (Spring term includes Spring holiday period, Summer term includes summer holiday period). This arrangement does not apply for Little Loveders.
To make life easier, we are happy to provide nappies, toiletries and formula for your child. These are all included in the fees. All you need to provide is some spare named clothing in case of any accidents or messy play!
