We are incredibly lucky to have specialist teachers and visiting professionals to provide a range of classes and experiences for our children at Loveders. Enrique’s music classes are enjoyed all through the nursery from our youngest babies through to those ready to leave for school. Music provides so many learning and development opportunities across the entire Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Rhythm, sequences and patterns help with maths; repetition of words and sounds in songs develop language and communication skills; dancing and movement aid physical development and creativity and handling instruments improve finer motor skills.
Our older children in the Nurture Room and Nursery also benefit from Spanish classes where they learn simple words and phrases through songs, nursery rhymes, games and activities.
Karen from Kind Space Yoga provides excellent opportunities for physical development, emotional wellbeing and mindfulness through her specially developed yoga sessions
Children at Loveders also benefit from visits from Zoolab and their creepy crawlies, mobile farms and people who help us such as the Police Force, Fire Service and Armed Forces.
